May God’s hand be on your shoulder
Through these trying hours and days,
May His guiding light always surround
As you tread the shadowed ways.
May you know His warmth as sadness
Breaks its cold wave on your shore;
May you feel God’s love enfold you
With a faith sound and secure.
May His presence close beside you
Give you strength to carry on,
